This site provides free French learning content for TEF and TEF Canada preparation. We aim to keep data collection minimal.
What we collect
- Basic analytics information through Google Analytics, such as page views and general traffic patterns
- Advertising-related data through Google AdSense, which may use cookies or similar technologies
- Technical information needed to load and secure the site
- Information you voluntarily enter in the enquiry form, including your name, email address, topic and message
What we do not currently collect
- No public user registration
- No public comments
- No permanent server-side storage of practice voice recordings
Where speaking practice is available, recordings are intended to remain local to the user’s browser unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
Enquiries
Enquiry submissions are delivered by email and are not saved as WordPress database records. A privacy-preserving, IP-derived temporary rate-limit key and a signed security question are used to prevent automated abuse. The form may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited browser, device and network information to distinguish people from automated traffic. Email providers and hosting systems may retain normal delivery and security logs.
Advertising and cookies
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may be able to manage personalized advertising preferences through Google’s Ads Settings. Users in certain regions may also see a consent message through a certified consent management platform.
